Article Processing Charge
To support the journal’s operations, Applied Engineering, Innovation, and Technology (AEIT) requires an article processing charge (APC) for all accepted manuscripts. This fee covers the ongoing operation and quality of the journal, including peer review management, website maintenance, DOI registration, digital preservation, and indexing services.
The standard APC for an article is IDR 200,000 (USD 20 for international authors). Authors are required to pay the APC only after their manuscript has been accepted for publication.
We are committed to supporting authors regardless of financial status. Waivers are available for the following criteria:
- Authors from low and lower-middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank) – half waiver.
- Collaboration articles written by multiple authors from two or more countries – full waiver.
- Students or early-career researchers without grant support – full waiver.
Please inform editors about these circumstances during the submission process. This does not affect editorial decision-making or the peer review process.
Upon acceptance of an article, an invoice will be sent to the corresponding author with details on how to make the payment. Failure to pay the APC within the given time may result in the delay of publication.
APCs are non-refundable once the article is published, except in cases of withdrawal by the journal due to unforeseen editorial issues. For more details or to inquire about waivers or discounts, please contact the journal at journal.aeit@msdinstitute.org.
